Orizzontale
Orizzontale is a collective of architects based in Rome whose main object of interest is formed by the process of reactivation of municipal waste. Starting from the interception of places, things and ideas thrown out of the loop (re) production of the metropolis, Orizzontale active collaborative processes in the form of performances or installations, “public acts” during which the waste material and intangible ridiano mutually sense. From 2010 Horizontal has promoted some homebrewing projects for public spaces relational, in which, forming images of abandoned cities and unpublished, was experimenting with new forms of interaction between urban residents and the commons, while putting to the test limits of the process of architectural creation.
